GLE Celebrates Jerry Wellman’s Retirement
Last week, we celebrated Jerry Wellman’s retirement from GLE. He has been a staple of the company for almost 42 years, and we wish him all the best as he shifts his focus to his honey-do list and his vegetable garden.
A Wealth of Experience
Jerry worked in the department that produces the mirrorlike surface finishes at GLE, and his expertise will be missed. His story is not an uncommon one here, and employees like him are how we are able to exceed customer expectations. Jerry was one of the people that we would come to with a problem, he was always up for a challenge. His coworkers spoke about his work ethic and skill when being interview for his employee spotlight, which you can read here.
We were able to celebrate Jerry Wellman’s retirement with cake on his last day as well and a small party. Every employee that retires from GLE receives a ring as a small token of our appreciation and to serve as a memory of their time here.
